Our Dreams

Dreams For Kids Network is a non-profit organization that utilizes community resources and contacts to give each student every opportunity to realize their dreams. When students walk through the front doors of their school, it is our wish that they will believe they play an important role in their own success as well as the success of their schools, other students, and the communities in which they live.

The Dreams For Kids Network model we use today has evolved from blending the idea from the Catherine Ryan Hyde book and movie, “Pay It Forward,” and the concepts of the life enriching Make-A-Wish Foundation. However, there is one major exception. We believe every child has dreams. Regardless of medical history or condition, we believe these students have the ability to see their dreams come true and we are here to help. With that, we also encourage all dream recipients to “Pay It Forward” by someday helping to make someone else’s dream come true.

Through caring community and professional mentors, it is our desire that students will see their dreams become a reality and harbor hope for a successful future. Mentors including celebrities, professional athletes, politicians, educators, business professionals, members of law enforcement, fire fighters, and other caring community members can and do make dreams come true for kids. Whether it is twenty minutes with the President of the United States of America, traveling to New York City to visit TIME Magazine, spending the afternoon on the set of a hollywood motion picture, or meeting the players of your favorite sports team, our dreams are for your dreams to come true!

[We hope they will know that there are adults in their lives who care about them and want the best for them, and that they will be hopeful of a bright and productive future.]
