About US

Dreams for Kids is a non-profit organization that utilizes community resources and contacts to give each student every opportunity to realize their dreams. Thus, when they walk through the front doors of their school, they believe that they play an important role in their own success and that of their school. They know that their are adults who care about them, and they are hopeful of a bright and productive future.

Through caring community and professional mentors, students can see their dreams become a reality and harbor hope for a successful future. Mentors including professional athletes, politicians, educators, business professionals, police, fire fighters, and individuals like you can and do make dreams come true. Whether it is twenty minuets with the president of the United States, a half day at the fire station, of an afternoon with The Denver Broncos, dreams become reality. Hundreds of dreams come true every year and have included; visits with President Clinton and President Ford, special time spent with professional athletes, a visit with mayor Rudi Giulani, a trip to ground Zero in New York City, a day spent with Olympic Gold Medallists, new front teeth and a new arm for two students involved in accidents, a home to call their own for a homeless family, an afternoon with the Blue Angels, a fundraiser for kids with cancer, a student meeting his real dad for the first time, a fifth grade student singing lead into performance group, Big and Rich, and others.
